History of German Karneval Across The World......

The German Karneval season begins in jovial fashion on 11/11 at 11:11am (fools numbers) and ends on Fat Tuesday, March 4 2025. The Karneval highlights in Germany are the Rosemonday parades popular in Mainz, Cologne and Duesseldorf.  The fun season is celebrated throughout the world with Mardi Gras in the US, Carnival in Brazil and Italy and ending on Fat Tuesday and with the beginning of the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday. Breaking from tradition Suisse Fasnacht is celebrated on Monday after Ash Wednesday. Elaborate colorful costumes are popular during the season throughout these celebrations.
