Fountain Hills Sister Cities (FHSC) once again participates in the annual Oktoberfest in the Hills celebration at the park in Fountain Hills. The event was very successful with significantly higher turnout than 2021. In the spirit of the traditional German holiday, the FHSC team sold German strudel along with a uniquely Fountain Hills creation; German chocolate/sauerkraut cake as a fund-raiser. In addition to the delectable food items, FHSC was proud to offer for sale a donated private collection of German beer steins.
The 2022 Oktoberfest in the Hills celebration reaffirmed the commitment of FHSC to our local community to share in the spirit of international connections.
