FHSC 25th Anniversary Monument Comes Alive

A Special Unveiling Event.....

A unique opportunity was recently shared by a select group of Fountain Hills Sister Cities members and supporters.  They got an early glimpse of a truly remarkable piece of art secretly being constructed in a gallery in Cave Creek Arizona. It was a behind-the-scenes look at the artist, his studio, his amazing work and the incredible monument he is creating for Fountain Hills Sister Cities. A monument commemorating FHSC’s 25 years of community service.

Mark Carroll is a renowned local artist who works in wood, stone and metal. For 35 years, Mark has perfected his craft and has the experience and expertise to create sculptures to enhance any setting. FHSC is incredibly fortunate to partner with Mark on this one-of-a-kind commissioned art piece and look forward to its completion and installation somewhere here in the town of Fountain Hills in the coming months.

A Monument Conceived To Last Another 25 Years.....

Early artist renditions of the monument, the plaque, and the way-finder signpost revealed a rich and colorful creation that will surely be an attention-getter when it finally finds a home among the many sculptures found in our town. The base of the monument, a sculpted metal creation depicting the mountains around Fountain Hills was the item first on display during the Sculpture Studio Tour.

A Commitment to Communities.... Local and International......

For more than 25 years, Fountain Hills Sister Cities has helped build global friendships and cultural connections with our sister cities in Poland, Germany, and El Salvador.

To honor this commitment, we are creating this 25th Anniversary Wayfinder Sign and Sculpture that will be a permanent and endearing addition to the Fountain Hills’ cultural landscape that will celebrate our international partnerships and community-to-community connections for generations to come.

Where it will be placed is still to be determined. We are hoping for a high pedestrian traffic location where it can be easily recognized. Stay tuned for more news about the completion and installation coming soon!

A Special Thanks To Our Loyal Supporters.....

Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, more than 75% of the project has already been funded through private donations. We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of assistance from like-minded community members who want to share in our vision to join Fountain Hills to International communities through citizen diplomacy.

We are now in the final stretch and need your help to raise the remaining funds and complete this meaningful legacy project. You too can be part of this high-visibility landmark; a true gift to Fountain Hills for residents and visitors alike to share!
