Fountain Hills Sister Cities Hosts This Year's Oktoberfest
For the first time in many years, Fountain Hills Sister Cities was the host for the 2025 Oktoberfest celebration. We must admit, it was a blast! The Oktoberfest celebration is one of FH Sister Cities’ most beloved events. It showcases our commitment to enriching the community with our international ties and is a natural smile generator for all who participate. Fountain Hills Sister Cities is especially proud to carry on these traditions that bind and strengthen our bonds with our partner cities like Dierdorf Germany.
The Weather Was Perfection.....
Unlike last year’s scorching sun, the heat was nowhere to be seen. Hopes and prayers for better weather seemed to actually be effective this year. It was also smart strategy on the part of this year’s event planners to simply wait just a few weeks later in the season. The choice paid off in a big way! Vendors and the crowds alike seemed to really be in the spirit of this incredible Autumn tradition.
The Food and Beverage Choices Amazed Everyone.....
Of course, in keeping with our tradition Sister Cities sold its traditional German goodies. Apple strudel sales were the centerpiece of our offerings, but the German chocolate sauerkraut was a surprise hit!
Fountain Hills Sister Cities partnered up with other food and beverage vendors that rounded out the complete menu available to the hungry and thirsty crowds!
Even Our Town Mayor Helped Influence the Festive Atmosphere and Got in On the Fun Himself with the Tapping of the First Keg
