Fountain Hills Sister Cities Participates in This Year's Oktoberfest
The long-overdue Fountain Hills Oktoberfest became a reality thanks to this year’s host, the Four Peaks Rotary Club. Fountain Hills Sister Cities played its part by staffing a booth selling traditional German goodies. Our traditional apple strudel sales were the centerpiece of our offerings. A specialty German chocolate cake and cookies rounded out the display.
It Was a Hot One...
The scorching summer sun held on a little too long this year, which made the celebration a bit difficult for the vendors and the crowds to manage, but in all, the event was very successful.

The Oktoberfest celebration is one of FH Sister Cities’ most beloved events. It showcases our commitment to enriching the community with our international ties and is a natural smile generator for all who participate. Fountain Hills Sister Cities is especially proud to carry on these traditions that bind and strengthen our bonds with our partner cities like Dierdorf Germany.
