Fountain Hills Sister Cities Heritage Month Celebration

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year from September 15 through October 15. The entire month of October is observed as both German Heritage Month and Polish Heritage Month. In a unique and timely tribute to all three, we invite you to come be part of this special event and see for yourself just how meaningful and beneficial our international partnerships truly are.

The Fountain Hills Sister Cities Heritage Month Celebration will include a delicious buffet dinner of hunter schnitzel (German pork fritter) with mushroom sauce, golabki (Polish stuffed cabbage rolls), pierogies (Polish dumplings), pupusas (El Salvador stuffed flatbread), and apple strudel, with wine, beer, and other beverages available. There will also be honorary proclamations; exciting presentations about opportunities through Sister Cities such as member programs and events, the Fountain Hills High School student exchange program, and adult trips; musical entertainment; beautiful cultural baskets to be raffled, and more.

Tickets for this family-friendly event are $50 for adults, $20 for students ages 11-18, and free for children 10 and under.

Advance reservations may be made online by secure credit card payment via “Tickets” (See Below!)

or by check, made payable to Fountain Hills Sister Cities, and mailed to Christine Colley, FHSC President 16033-109 E. Primrose Drive, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. If mailing in fees, kindly RSVP no later than October 6 to hold your seats.

Walk-ins will also be admitted as space allows, with payment accepted at the door via cash, check, or credit card.
