An Insider’s Tour of Venice, Italy During the Annual Carnevale Celebration

Join Fountain Hills Sister Cities members and friends for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Carnevale in Venice, Italy from February 25 to March 3, 2025!

This extraordinary personal guided tour will include behind-the-scenes visits to famous and private points of interest during the magical Carnevale season. To visit Venice is to be transported back to when the city was the Queen of the Seas, and known as La Serenissima, The Most Serene Republic. But to visit her during the time of Carnevale is truly a trip of a lifetime!

This exclusive tour is planned for a small group, hosted and guided by local art historian Paola Vojnovic.

She has designed this trip to be filled with very special and insightful people; Venice experts and locals who will show you their unique insider view of Venice. This superb adult trip is shaping up to be absolutely amazing for 2025 and you should be a part of it!

• Enjoy a private visit to the famous Doge’s Palace (before the museum opens to the public!) and see the magnificent Basilica of San Marco with one of Venice’s most important experts.
• Attend a perfume-making workshop with an award-winning expert, and design and make your very own signature scent!
• Meet one of the oldest glass-making families of Murano!
• Attend a private Carnevale Ball in costumes designed by the celebrated atelier of Stefano Nicolao (movies such as Casanova and Dangerous Beauty).
• Ride in private taxis (the most glamorous way to move in Venice!) and visit the private palazzos of Paola’s friends.
